A quick cycling update...

except when it comes to cycling I can't seem to shut up.
So we're in the middle of the Classics season, yesterday was the Queen of the Classics: Paris - Roubaix or The Hell of the North as it's sometimes called. Fabulous Fabian Cancellara had won the Tour of Flanders (last Sunday) and was favored to win P - R. So what do you think he did....
.completely dominated it, putting minutes in the field, soloing the last 44 k's! And this was no wimpy field, he road away from Tom Boonen, Thor Hushovd, Juan Antonio Flecha.....did I mention Fabian is fabulous?
And although the American riders did terrible in P-R, including Gorgeous George (frowny face), their spring as a whole hasn't bad. Chris Horner won the
Tour of Basque on the final stage time trial on Saturday, as well as the finest hat in cycling.
Tyler Farrer (fastest man in argyle) won a
stage in Three Days of De Panne, and Scheldeprijis Vlaanderen(say that 10 times fast), a one day race in Belgium last week.
And even though Mark Cavendish has had a slow start to the season, stupid teeth, it isn't shutting him up. I don't think it's a good idea to
turn on your teammates at the beginning of the season.
